HEALING CENTER CONSIDERATIONS

We make every effort to maintain a quiet space for our services. Please turn off or silence all electronic devices while inside the office. Thank you.

CONSENT

Sessions for anyone under the age of 18 requires signed parental consent and physical presence.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONVERSATION

The discussion between the massage therapist and the client is confidential. The client may or may not choose to talk during the massage.

Any health information disclosed, observed or treated will be kept confidential under HIPAA law.

EXISTING AND NEW MEDICAL CONDITIONS

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the therapy may be continued.
The client must also keep the therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.

PAYMENT

We accept cash, checks, credit card, PayPal and Venmo. Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Insurance and other third party payments are not accepted. We will provide receipts or other records for you or the insurance company if requested.

Package payments are expected at anytime before or with the first appointment in the package series. All package series expire as stated on the package agreement unless there are extenuating circumstances. Each package is for the individual client and can not be shared.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require a 24 hour notice for rescheduling or canceling an appointment. If adequate notice is not received, you will be charged full price for the appointment.
Non-appearance for an appointment will result in a charge of 100% of the scheduled service. (Extenuating circumstances will be considered)
Your appointment time is reserved just for you and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding our cancellation policy.

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

Unfortunately we cannot always provide late arrivals with an extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The full service fee will be charged.

RIGHT TO REFUSE TREATMENT

The therapist reserves the right to refuse or terminate treatment to any client, at their own discretion, and may refuse, discontinue or defer treatment. In this instance full payment is still required and no refund will be given.

Examples of when this may occur include:

If the client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs at the time of treatment;
If the client has withheld or not provided information relevant to treatment;
If the client’s actions, words or behavior are inappropriate;
If the client is threatening, aggressive or violent, or in any way poses a risk to the therapist.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are always welcome, but never expected.
